George T. Padula, Jr. is a Principal and Wealth Manager of Modera Wealth Management, LLC. He specializes in small business owners, college planning, retirement planning, endowments and foundations and charitable giving. In addition, George serves as Modera’s Chief Investment Officer.

Before joining Modera, George spent ten years at Danforth Associates, an investment advisory firm, serving as president from October 2004 to July 2008. While there, he was responsible for developing and directing multifaceted wealth strategies for high-net worth clients and providing leadership and expertise on investment strategies, markets and economic trends.

George holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst® certification and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College. He is also a graduate of Boston College High School.

George’s professional affiliations include the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Boston Security Analysts Society, the Boston Estate Planning Council and CFA® Institute. George has been a featured speaker at seminars and conferences on a variety of investment topics and has been quoted in several national and local publications including: New York Times, Financial Times, Bloomberg Markets, Journal of Financial Planning, Reuters, and The Boston Globe Magazine.

Outside of Modera - Through a partnership with the FPA of Massachusetts and the Dana- Farber Cancer Institute, George provides pro bono financial planning services to cancer patients and their families. He lives in Westwood, Massachusetts with his wife Marjorie and their two daughters. His personal interests include running, hockey and refereeing youth soccer. George has run eight marathons and four Mount Washington Road Races. (CAM 3087)
