Joseph A. D’Orazio received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting cum laude from Villanova University in 1978 and received the certification as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. D’Orazio received a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1981 and a Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1983. Prior to founding D’Orazio & Associates, Inc. in November 2004, Mr. D’Orazio was a principal of the investment advisory and financial planning firm, Rembert, D’Orazio & Fox, for over 18 years. Prior to Rembert, D’Orazio & Fox, he was a senior tax specialist with the international accounting firm of Laventhal & Horwath where he specialized in personal financial counseling. He was a tax manager with Brennan Reports, a monthly investment and tax planning newsletter, where he specialized in analyzing and reviewing investments.
