The following is an overview of what you'll experience.

  1. Vision Meeting: We dig deep into what matters to you most and how your money can serve you to that end. You dream big and put all of your hopes and ideas on the table.
  2. Organization and Obstacles Meeting: We assess where you are now by bringing your entire financial life into one place.  We review and discuss your assets and liabilities, as well as your current income and expenses for both your business and personal finances.
  3. Knowledge Development Meeting: We develop a thoughtful, intentional process for how you can use financial planning techniques to build the choice and opportunity you want in your present life and fund your future wants and needs.
  4. Execution Meeting: With the energy and inspiration of your ideal life, as well as your initial financial plan in place, we work together to help you bring your vision to life as quickly as possible.
  5. Check-In Meetings (If necessary): After the execution phase kicks in, we will check in on your progress, and I’ll be there to help you if you go off course or something changes.
  6. Annual Renewal Meeting:  We review your progress with the implementation of your tasks and discuss your continued need for ongoing support and next steps as we go into each new year of planning.

Additional Information

As both a tax attorney and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I provide comprehensive financial planning to LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who run socially-conscious service businesses.

I hold a special place in my heart for small-business owners. I spent a decade defending them against the IRS as a tax attorney and have become one as a financial advisor. It’s a position filled with hope and opportunity. It gives you the most flexibility to create the life that you want. I also understand the added stresses of running a business while being a person of color and apart of the LGBTQ+ community.  You may feel like you don't have access to the knowledge that others do. I'm here to help lift some of that weight from your shoulders.

Every client comes to me with different goals and concerns. You may want a business that aligns with your values and authentically represents you. Yet, you don't know how to get started. In our work together, we help you get clarity around your vision and guide you through the steps to structure your business in a way that serves your life.

You may already have a business that makes good gross revenue but that doesn't provide much profit. It may also look very different from what you initially imagined. We will create systems that allow you to get back in control and keep moving towards the progress you want.

Or maybe you just feel stuck in the business and need help making ongoing decisions to ensure your business thrives and rewards you with the life you aspire to. In any case, I serve as your guide, advocate and thought partner helping you thrive in business and in life.
