Planning Specialties

Missie graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business and a minor in Dance from Wake Forest University.  She received her master's degree in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State University where she was named Outstanding Personal Financial Planning Graduate Student of the Year. Missie holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation as well as the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional designation.

She is an active parent volunteer at The Westminster Schools.  In her free time, she and her husband enjoy attending their two sons' sporting events.  Missie has provided advice through “Jumpstart Your Retirement Days” – a free hotline sponsored by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and NAPFA.

Missie Beach's involves working with clients to formulate planning goals, developing and implementing wealth management strategies and monitoring clients’ progress in working towards their financial and investment goals. Missie has experience working in all areas of financial planning, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning and risk management.  Missie is a NAPFA registered financial advisor and currently serves as the President of NAPFA's South Region. 

Missie spent many years offering investment counsel and financial planning to high-net-worth individuals, families and not-for-profit organizations at Modera Wealth Management, LLC and Homrich Berg, an independent wealth management firm with over $4 billion assets under management.  Previously, Missie worked for The Ayco Company, a Goldman Sachs company. While at Ayco, she worked on a team to provide comprehensive financial services to corporate executives as well as high-net-worth individuals.  Areas of focus included investment planning, income tax planning, cash flow analysis, retirement planning, estate planning and risk management.
