Carl began his professional career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy following his graduation in 1992 from the University of Illinois. Carl served aboard several ships during his almost 10 years of active duty including teaching for the Navy, when he earned his MBA and graduated summa cum laude with a degree concentration in finance from Jacksonville University. In 2000, he resigned his active commission and was sworn in as an officer with the Navy Reserves. That same year, he received his professional certification as a CFP® practitioner. Retired at the rank of Captain after serving overseas, at the Pentagon, and Guantanamo Bay, Carl has received a served at the highest levels of the military and earned a number of personal awards.

 

Carl lives with his wife, Diana, and their children, Abigail and Elijah, in Greenfield, NH, where they love the outdoors and rural life.
