Adam Leone is a Principal and Wealth Manager at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. His main responsibilities include helping clients develop their financial plans, implementing wealth management strategies and managing clients’ investment portfolios. Adam has extensive experience working in all areas of financial planning, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning and risk management. He also works with a number of nonprofit organizations and trusts on portfolio design and implementation.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - Prior to joining Modera, Adam was a consultant with IBM Business Consulting Services. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University. Adam holds the Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Financial Consultant® professional certifications. As a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Adam also has made presentations to a variety of professional conferences and consumer organizations, including an educational web seminar for the Financial Planning Association entitled "Techniques for Presenting a Financial Plan." He has been featured in several media publications including a New York Daily News story on Roth IRAs, a Wall Street Journal story on Roth IRAs, the Journal of Financial Planning on cost basis legislation, and a Today’s Chiropractic Lifestyle magazine article on socially responsible investing.

Additional Information

OUTSIDE OF MODERA - In addition to enjoying spending time with his wife and two sons, Adam volunteers for Kiplinger’s Retirement Hotline, a program that offers thousands of callers free, one-on-one financial advice on how to manage and invest their money. He also has been involved with his local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Adam regularly donates his time to support local organizations and present at industry conferences. He currently serves on the Ringwood Board of Adjustment and as a volunteer coach in his town’s tee ball league.
